Villa Anthi

Villa Anthi is a renovation project located near Tersanas beach in Chania. The brief from the clients had been to create a contemporary family retreat with an architectural approach. Since the family are furniture manufacturers, we included a wide range of bespoke pieces. From the outset of the project, we shared a vision for the design aesthetics: a light-coloured summer house by the sea. As the owners have a big family scattered all over the world, the house has been equipped to host many guests. For this reason we created two big dining areas. Inside the house there is an oversized solid oak table with upholstered chairs around it, in a space where electric vertical opening windows create a conservatory room. In addition to the conservatory we designed an outdoor dining area with a built-in BBQ and kitchen, a suar oversized table, natural teak rattan chairs and overhead unique rope lamps by Jean Paolo Venier. Within the interior spaces of the house, we incorporated chic and playful furniture pieces by MIA Collection. We also included select design pieces from our studio, IOSV, such as side tables from the OTA collection, a bench for the master bedroom, and a Parole console.
